Buying a Yamaha 4hp
Expect 20 to 27 kg, 44 to 60 lb dry, short or long shaft, manual start, tiller, and integral, external tank optional. Shaft length is built into the model code: L is a twenty inch long shaft, X a twenty five inch extra long, and neither means a fifteen inch short shaft.

Fitted right, the anti ventilation plate finishes level with the hull bottom. Send us a photograph with a tape measure in frame if you are unsure.
Does the price include controls and a propeller?
Remote steering engines are supplied without a control box or cables unless you add them, and engines from 40hp up ship without a propeller so it can be pitched to your hull. Both can go in the same crate, so there is no second freight charge.
