Used Yamaha Pair F350 350HP Outboard for Sale
Buy a matched pair of used Yamaha F350 outboards for sale online, twin 2011 350HP V8s with 460 recorded hours. Seven hundred horsepower across two matched V8s is serious offshore power, and buying an older pair is how a large hull gets repowered without new engine money. Four hundred and sixty hours across two engines over that many seasons is genuinely light, and a documented pair at this age is a better proposition than two mismatched newer engines assembled from separate sales. Send the boat, the transom height and your existing rigging and we will work through the fit before anything is confirmed.
Supplied with
- Engine, cowling and mounting hardware, factory assembled
- Owner manual, warranty booklet and registration certificate
- Propeller not included on engines from 40hp up, pitched to order on request
- Remote control box, cables and rigging tube available as an add on
- First service kit available at checkout, oil filter and gear oil
Not sure on shaft length
Measure vertically from the top of the transom to the lowest point of the hull. Fifteen inches takes a short shaft, twenty inches a long shaft, twenty five inches an extra long. This engine is an extra long shaft, 25in.
Buying an older matched pair of F350s
Age and hours pull in opposite directions on this pair, and it is worth being clear about both.
The engines are from 2011, so rigging and gauges are of that era. If your boat already runs them, that is an advantage. If you were planning a modern digital helm, the interface is a cost to add in.
Against that, 460 hours across two engines is very light: roughly 230 each across more than a decade. On four strokes rated past 3,000 hours, these have barely been used, and that is not a claim about the price so much as about what is left in them.
Ask for compression across all sixteen cylinders and photographs of both midsections. Two engines of the same age rarely wear identically, and the differences are where the story is.

What boats run twin Yamaha F350 outboards
Offshore center consoles and sportfishing hulls from roughly 33 to 40 feet, where 700 horsepower is the rating and where the boat goes far enough out that two engines is a safety decision rather than a performance one.
Transom weight matters at this size. Two V8s is a lot of mass hanging off the back, and on an older hull it is worth confirming the transom is rated for it before ordering.
Used twin Yamaha F350s against a newer pair
The newer equivalent in stock is the 2024 Yamaha Pair F350XSA, which carries similar hours on a far more recent year. The difference between them is thirteen years of rigging standards and corrosion exposure, not thirteen years of wear.
Which is the better buy depends entirely on what helm your boat already has. Tell us what is fitted and we will tell you honestly which pair costs less to install.
Transom weight on a pair of Yamaha F350s
Two V8 outboards is a lot of mass on the back of a boat, and it is the constraint people underestimate when they step up to 700 horsepower.
Check what the transom is rated for, not just what the capacity plate says about horsepower. Weight and power are separate limits, and an older hull designed around lighter engines can be rated for the power and not the mass.
Watch how the boat sits at rest afterwards. If the stern squats noticeably, scuppers can end up below the waterline and the boat becomes wet in a following sea.
A surveyor or the hull manufacturer will tell you the transom rating. It is worth a phone call before a purchase this size, and we would rather you made it than not.
Frequently asked questions
Is 460 hours low for a pair of Yamaha F350s?
Very. That is about 230 hours each across more than a decade, which on engines rated past 3,000 hours is barely run in. The question at this age is storage and salt exposure rather than wear.
Are older twin outboards worth buying?
If the hours are low and the midsections are clean, yes. The main cost of an older pair is rigging compatibility with modern gauges and controls, so it depends on what your helm already has.
What size boat takes twin Yamaha F350s?
Usually a 33 to 40 foot offshore center console or sportfishing hull rated for 700 horsepower. Confirm the transom is rated for the weight of two V8s before you commit.
Why buy a matched pair instead of two separate engines?
Same model, same year, same hours and resolved rotation. Two engines bought separately mean mismatched electronics, different wear and a rotation hunt on the second one.
How much does it cost to ship two Yamaha F350s?
Freight is quoted by weight and destination, and a pair of V8s is a substantial shipment. Send your zip code and we will quote it before you order.

Shipping and crating
The engine is bolted upright to a purpose built pallet, braced at the cowling and skinned before it leaves the warehouse. Crates are photographed on the dock and the photographs are attached to your order record.
Freight is curbside by default. The carrier calls ahead to arrange a delivery window, and you will need a second pair of hands or a tractor to take the crate off the truck. Liftgate service and delivery direct to an authorized dealer can both be added at checkout.
Standard transit is five to ten working days depending on zone, express is one to three. Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico are quoted separately.
| Destination zone | Freight on this engine | Transit |
